What is Living Database?

Living Database is Felix's always-on skill and the foundation for everything else Felix does. It continuously watches every contact and property in your database, keeps the data current, and validates it so your records stay ready to act on.

The signals it detects feed Felix's other skills, so the right contacts surface at the right time instead of sitting unnoticed in a static list.

What Living Database does

• Continuous monitoring: watches every contact and property for changes, every day.
• Property enrichment: adds property records to your contacts from public records, MLS, and ownership filings.
• Lifecycle detection: spots when buyers become homeowners, and when homeowners become potential sellers.
• Address resolution: finds and fills in missing home addresses.
• Signal detection: surfaces equity, move, and life-event signals automatically. Learn more about signals and intent.
• Validation layer: validates email and phone data and scrubs against the national Do Not Call registry to keep your active contacts clean and ready to use.
• Conversational learning: captures details from Felix's own conversations, such as name preferences and timelines.

How monitoring and activation work

Every contact in your database is monitored continuously at no additional cost. While a contact is monitored, Living Database enriches and stores data internally.

When a signal makes an opportunity clear, you activate the contact. Activating writes the full data to the record and unlocks validation and outreach. Database health keeps improving over time as monitoring continues.

Sales Agent and Nurture run only on Active contacts, so activating a contact is what turns on outreach. Monitored contacts are enriched and watched for signals but receive no outreach.

What Living Database enriches and validates

Living Database enriches addresses only. It finds and fills a contact's home address from public records, MLS, and ownership filings. It does not enrich phone numbers or email addresses.

For phone and email, Living Database validates rather than enriches:

• Phone validation confirms a number is real and working (mobile or landline). It does not confirm the number belongs to that contact.
• Email validation checks that an email address is valid.
• DNC scrubbing checks numbers against the national Do Not Call registry. Learn more about DNC registration.

Configure Living Database

Living Database runs automatically, but you can adjust how it finds addresses.

• Go to Felix AI from the left sidebar.
• Open Living Database under Your Skills.
• Select the Configure tab.
  
  

• Under Contact Enrichment, turn either toggle on or off:
  
  • New Contacts: automatically find and add addresses when new contacts are created.
  • Continuous Enrichment: periodically re-search for addresses on existing contacts that are still missing one.

See your Living Database results

The Living Database report shows what Felix has found across your database: addresses enriched, property and ownership changes detected, Active vs Monitored coverage, and email, phone, and DNC validation.

• Go to Reports from the left sidebar.
• Under Felix, select Living Database.

• Does Living Database enrich phone numbers or emails?
  • No. Living Database enriches addresses only. It validates your phone and email data but does not add new phone numbers or email addresses.
• Does phone validation mean the number belongs to my contact?
