How to add tags to contacts in Fello

Learn how to add tags to identify certain types of contacts.

Fello allows you to apply your own tags to contacts. Tagging contacts can be useful when you want to identify a certain set of contacts easily, either for marketing, follow-ups, or to find certain contacts faster. Tags are also useful for adding extra information to contacts, for fields that aren't available in Fello by default.

🗒️ Note: Fello can apply some tags automatically. Learn about the default tags in Fello.

To apply a tag to a contact:

  • Go to the Contacts module.
  • Click the 3-dot icon next to a contact.

💡 Tip: You can also bulk-select contacts from the list page and click Add Tags above list of contacts to add tags to multiple contacts at once.

  • Select Add Tags
  • Select the tags that you want to add.

If you can't find the tag that you're looking for, then you can choose to create a new tag instead.

🗒️ Note: After you add a certain tag for the first time in Fello, that tag will be searchable in the list of tags when other users want to add tags to contacts. To remove it from the list of tags, you must remove the tag from all contacts that it's currently applied to. Learn More
