How to suspend users in Fello
Learn about how and why you'd want to suspend a user in Fello.
If you want to prevent a user from accessing their Fello account, you have two options: either delete their user profile from Fello, which is permanent, or suspend them instead.
🗒️ Note: Suspending a user removes their access to Fello while preserving historical data. This helps you resume in-progress deals and monitor for signs that a former user may be engaging with your purchased/acquired leads. You can view these metrics from a new section called Revenue Recovery in the Property Intelligence report. Learn More.
To suspend a user in Fello:
- Go to Settings > User Management.

- Click the 3-dot icon near the user that you want to suspend.

- Select Suspend User.
- Click Suspend User to confirm in the pop-up that appears.

If the user that you're about to suspend has contacts assigned to them, then this pop-up will contain the following options to help you decide what to do with those assigned contacts:
Action for Assigned Contacts:- Delete Contacts: The assigned contacts will be deleted.
- Reassign to Another User: You can select another user to whom you want to assign these contacts.
- Keep Contacts Unassigned: The assigned contacts will remain in your account without being assigned to anyone.
After you suspend a user, they will immediately lose access to their Fello account, and any buyer or seller transactions for contacts in your database that are associated with this user's MLS details will be tracked under your account. If you want to restore their access, you can set them back to Active at any time. Here's how:
- Go to Settings > User Management.
- Click the 3-dot icon near a suspended user.

- Select Set as Active.
- Select the role that you want to set for this user under Access.

- Click Set as Active.
Now, the suspended user can access their Fello account again.
