Learn how the Fello Affiliate Program works, how to join, and how commission is earned and paid.

Who can join
The Affiliate Program is open to active Fello customers with a current subscription.
- Users on the Owner and Admin roles can enroll themselves. Learn more about roles and permissions.
- Each participating user gets their own Affiliate profile and their own referral link, connected to your Fello account. Affiliate profiles are not shared across a team.
- If your situation falls outside this, the Fello team can set up an Affiliate profile for you.
How to join
Enrollment is self-serve. There is no application or review step, and there is nothing to wait for once you have enrolled.
- Go to the Fello Affiliate Portal.
- Create your account using your Google account or an email address.
- Your Affiliate profile, referral link, and QR code are created automatically.
Commission tiers
Commission is calculated as a percentage of the referred customer's initial Total Contract Value (TCV). TCV is the value of their first contract with Fello, and it can include the Fello platform, Felix, add-ons, and other approved components of that agreement.
There are two tiers.
Affiliate
Affiliate pays 5% of initial TCV on a qualifying referral. This is the starting tier for everyone who joins.
Promoter
Promoter pays 8% of initial TCV. You reach Promoter once four qualifying referrals have become Fello customers within a rolling six-month period. The fourth qualifying referral earns the 8% rate.
- Referrals of any team size count toward the four.
- The rolling six-month period is measured from the date each referral becomes a Fello customer.
- Expansion by a team you already referred does not count as an additional referral toward Promoter.
You keep Promoter status while you remain an active, eligible participant.
How to refer a team
Your referral link and QR code
Your referral link and QR code are the most reliable way to refer someone. When a team arrives through either one, the referral is attributed to you automatically and appears in your portal straight away. The QR code is useful in person, at events, in presentations, and on printed material.
Warm introductions
Introductions made by email, text, phone, or in person are welcome too. You do not need to send someone back through a link before Fello will act on the introduction.
Because these referrals do not carry attribution automatically, let Fello know who you introduced so the referral can be connected to your Affiliate profile. You can add that context from your portal.
How commission is calculated and paid
Commission on a qualifying referral is paid in monthly installments across the referred customer's first contract year.
- Payments begin once the referred customer is live, has successfully paid, and the 45-day qualification period has passed.
- Both you and the referred customer need to remain active and paying for future installments to stay eligible.
- Renewals are not commissionable. Commission applies to the initial contract.
- Expansion by a team you referred may be commissionable at your current tier when it is separately attributed to you.
- Self-referrals are not eligible.
Setting up your payout details
You can start referring before your payout details are in place. No payment is released until you have completed direct deposit, identity, and tax details.
💡 Tip: Complete your payout setup when you join rather than waiting for your first referral to close. Your portal shows whether anything is still outstanding.
What your Affiliate Portal shows
Your portal is where you track everything connected to your referrals:
- Your referral link and QR code.
- Your referrals and their progress.
- Which referrals have become Fello customers.
- Who at Fello is looking after each referral, and how follow-up is going.
- Commission earned, paid, and pending, along with your payout setup status.
- A way to add context or flag a referral that is missing, incorrect, or stuck.
Referrals made before September 14, 2026
Referral date determines which program terms apply. Referrals first submitted or attributed before September 14, 2026 stay on the terms that applied at the time, and they are not recalculated under the current program. Referrals first submitted or attributed on or after that date use the terms described in this guide.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
- What happens if I cancel my Fello subscription?
- Future unpaid installments are no longer eligible once you are no longer an active, paying Fello customer. Commission already paid is not reclaimed, except in cases such as fraud, error, or a chargeback.
- What happens if the team I referred cancels?
- Future unpaid installments tied to that referral stop. Commission already paid is not reclaimed solely because of a later cancellation.
- The team I want to refer is already talking to Fello. Can I still be credited?
- Possibly. Being in the pipeline already does not automatically rule out a referral. Share the context from your portal and Fello will review it.
- One of my referrals is missing, or credited to someone else. What should I do?
- Flag it from your portal with as much context as you can give. Fello reviews attribution and will follow up with you.
- Can I refer myself, or another Fello account I own?
- No. Self-referrals are not eligible unless Fello approves an exception in writing.
- Can anyone on my team join?
- Users on the Owner and Admin roles can enroll themselves, and each gets their own referral link. For anyone else, contact Fello.
