Notifications in Fello

Choose which activity notifies you and whether each topic reaches you in-app, by email, or both.

Notifications keep you on top of the activity that needs your attention: a new lead, a missed call, or a contact Felix has handed to your team. You decide which topics notify you, and whether each one reaches you in-app, by email, or both.

You manage all of this from Settings > Notifications.

🗒️ Note: Notification settings are personal. Each teammate chooses their own here, including which Felix handoffs they want to be alerted about.

Choose your notification channels

Two master toggles at the top of the page control your channels overall:

  • In-App: Notifications appear in the notification center inside Fello. Click the bell icon to see your most recent notifications.
  • Email: Notifications are sent to your connected email address.

Set notifications by topic

Below the channels, each topic has its own In-App and Email checkboxes, so you can fine-tune where each kind of notification reaches you.

Some topics also have a Notify for dropdown that scopes which contacts trigger them:

  • Assigned to me: Notify me only about contacts assigned to me.
  • All contacts: Notify me about every contact, no matter who they are assigned to.

Topics without this option apply to you directly and show a dash.

Make sure your team sees every handoff

Every handoff triggers a handoff notification, and a live transfer is itself a handoff, so live transfers generate one too.

The Handoff topic's Notify for scope decides which handoffs reach you. To be alerted about handoffs for contacts that are not assigned to you, including unassigned contacts, set it to All contacts. That scope requires access to all contacts. Without that permission, you are notified only about contacts assigned to you.

A shared or team inbox routes the live transfer call to its members, but it does not change who receives handoff notifications. Handoff notifications stay tied to the contact, so an unassigned contact's handoff reaches only people set to All contacts.

💡 Tip: If your ISAs should see every new lead and handoff, set their New Lead and Handoff topics to All contacts and confirm they have access to all contacts.
