Managing your phone, voicemail, and call settings in Fello
Set up call forwarding, choose how incoming calls ring, and customize the voicemail greeting on your Copilot line.
Your Copilot line is your dedicated number for calling, texting, and emailing contacts one to one in Fello. The My Phone page puts its call settings in one place, so calls reach you wherever you are and contacts hear a greeting in your voice when you miss one.
You manage all of this from Settings > My Phone.
🗒️ Note: These settings apply to your Copilot line, so you need a Copilot seat first. If you do not have one yet, you can request it from the same page. Learn more about phone numbers and Copilot seats.

Set up call forwarding
Call forwarding sends calls placed to your Copilot number through to another phone, so you can take them away from your computer. When a call forwards, your Copilot number still shows as the caller ID.
Here's how to add a forwarding number:
- Go to Settings > My Phone.
- In the Forwarding Number section, click Add Number.
- Enter the phone number you want calls forwarded to.
- Click Verify. You will receive a 6-digit code at that number. Enter the code to confirm it.
- Click Save.
Your forwarding number is now set. To use it for incoming calls, choose a forwarding option in the next section.
Choose how incoming calls ring
Incoming-call routing controls where calls to your Copilot number ring. You can have them ring in the Fello app, on another number, or both.
Here's how to change it:
- In the Incoming Calls section, click Edit.

- Choose one of the following:

- App only: Calls ring in your app only.
- App and forwarding number: Calls ring in your app and forward to your phone number simultaneously.
- Forwarding number only: Calls are sent directly to your forwarding number.
- App, then forwarding number: Calls ring in your app first, then your forwarding number if unanswered.
- Click Save.
🗒️ Note: You need to add and verify a forwarding number before you can use the forwarding options. Set one up above.
Customize your voicemail greeting
When you miss a call to your Copilot number, contacts hear your voicemail greeting. You can have an AI voice read a greeting you write, or record one in your own voice.
Here's how to edit it:
- In the Voicemail Greeting section, click Edit.

- Choose a Greeting Type:
- AI voice: A selected voice reads the greeting text you write.
- Custom recording: Record the greeting in your own voice.
- If you chose AI voice, select a voice under Voice Identity (Felix, Finn, or Fenix, the same voices available for Felix), then enter your greeting in the Greeting field. Click the play icon to preview how it sounds.
- If you chose Custom recording, click Start Recording and speak your greeting clearly.
- Click Save.
Your voicemail greeting is now set and plays whenever you miss a call on your Copilot line.
