How do I categorize leads generated from postcards?

Learn how to set the lead type for postcards in your automations and filter leads according to their type.

Prerequisite: Your role in Fello must have access to Marketing Settings. Learn more. 

You can select the type of lead that you expect to generate from each of your postcards used in automations. To do this: 

  • Go to Marketing > Postcards. 
  • Click the Edit (pencil) icon next to a postcard.
  • Click the QR code section to customize it.



  • Select the type of lead that you want to generate from the Lead Type dropdown. 



    Note: Changing the lead type doesn’t change the content in postcards – it’s only meant to be used for categorization.

  • Click Publish.

Now, whenever someone is converted to a lead via the link or QR code in this postcard, their lead type will be set according to your preference. 


Tip: You can optimize your team’s follow-up efforts by prioritizing certain types of leads first. You can do this by going to the Contacts module and filtering by lead types under Segments.
